Please pardon us for a little bragging...
Since October 2016, the club has completed more than 60 service projects in the community, mostly with large thanks to those who have supported Dancing with the Local Stars 2.0.
Serving Clark County from its base in Hazel Dell, Salmon Creek, Felida & Ridgefield, the Rotary Club of Three Creeks is filled with Changemakers, Peacemakers and People of Action.
Our club's members have prioritized the club’s giving and service partners with areas of focus in children, veterans, homeless and hungry and awarded its first major grant last August.
Funds will be used to support our community by the Rotary Club of Three Creeks. Our giving priorities are children, veterans, hungry and homeless. In the past three years, the club has donated nearly $70,000 of money raised at Dancing with the Local Stars to help nonprofits in these priorities. The club also has a charitable giving program to start reviewing and awarding community grants (up to $2,500) to area nonprofits. That program has provided $6,000 to nonprofits in the community since July of 2020.
We do things a little differently, always with an eye on the result of quality service to those who need it – just like Rotarians everywhere do. The programs listed are just a few of the ways Rotary of Three Creeks is making a difference.
Changing the ways of traditional Rotary is a cornerstone for the Three Creeks club. We invite you to come serve beside us, visit a club meeting, follow us on social media, or simply continue to participate in our fundraising activities.

Dancing with the Local Stars has a significant history in Clark County, and a number of Local Stars have made a big impact on our community.
The Historic Trust (then the Fort Vancouver National Trust) created Dancing with the Local Stars in 2006 and ran it for nearly a decade as a fundraiser for Youth Programs of the Trust. The fundraiser became one of the biggest social events of the summer each year, and eventually moved from the Pearson Air Museum to Vancouver's Hilton Hotel.
In 2014, the final year of the Trust's version of DWTLS, Waste Connections' governmental and community affairs manager the late Scott Campbell raised a record $66,000, breaking the previous record set by his Waste Connections colleague, Jason Hudson in 2011.
In 2018, the Rotary Club of Three Creeks adopted the Trust's former fundraiser and moved it to Windy Hills Winery, where the event's three year absence was made very clear. Windy Hills' 120 seats were sold out two weeks prior to the event. In 2019, the event also reached sellout status after which, audience members and Local Stars alike lauded the event with a round of "this event has outgrown this great facility. It's time to find a new home."
Since then, the Rotary Club has worked with ilani Casino Resort to make the move reality.
Other past winners of DWTLS include: Scot Brantley, Kelley Campbell, Ed Barnes, Susan Courtney, Rick Takach, Larry Smith, and Daniel Kim.
The Rotary Club of Three Creeks, chartered in October 2016, serves the Hazel Dell, Felida, Salmon Creek and Ridgefield area of North Clark County. It was named for Salmon Creek, Cougar Creek and Whipple Creek, each of which are geographic mainstays in the "Three Creeks" area. Since chartering, the small club has completed nearly 70 service projects, with at least one hands-on outing per month scheduled for the coming year. More information about the club can be found on its website (www.rotaryofthreecreeks.com), or Facebook (www.facebook.com/rotaryofthreecreeks).
